 Business Analyst

As part of the Crestech Delivery Team, you will play a pivotal role in analyzing business needs, identifying areas for improvement, and supporting the implementation of solutions that enhance operational efficiency and deliver tangible business value. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into actionable insights and contribute to the successful delivery of projects.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
  • Evaluate current business processes and suggest optimizations.
  • Develop detailed documentation such as Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), and user stories.
  • Liaise between business and technical teams to ensure alignment of objectives.
  • Support solution design and validate that delivered solutions meet business objectives.
  • Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) and post-implementation support.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular status reports.

Educational Requirements

Bachelors/Master of Engineering/Computer Applications/CS/IT or Equivalent preferred

Key Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience as a Business Analyst in IT services, software delivery, or product development environments.
  • Strong understanding of both Agile and Waterfall
  • Experience working closely with API frameworks, and exposure to functional testing
  • Solid experience in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, MS Visio, Postman, and MS Office Suite.
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements clearly and concisely.
  • Strong problem-solving, documentation, and critical thinking skills.

 

Technical and Professional Requirements:

  • Business Analysis Tools: Proficiency in tools like JIRA, Confluence, MS Visio, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • API & Integration Knowledge: Understanding of REST/SOAP APIs
  • Functional & User Acceptance Testing (UAT):
  1. Ability to define test scenarios and review test cases.
  2. Collaborate with QA teams to ensure traceability of requirements and proper testing coverage.
  • Data Analysis: Familiarity with data visualization tools like Excel PivotTables.
  • Software Development Methodologies:
  1. Strong understanding of Agile & Waterfall
  2. Experience working within sprint cycles and participating in agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives).
  • Soft Skills & Competencies:
  1. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  2. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  3. Stakeholder management and the ability to influence decision-making.
  4. High attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  5. Team collaboration and conflict resolution capabilities.
  • Certifications (Preferred but not mandatory):
  1. CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional)
  2. CCBA (Certification of Capability in Business Analysis)
  3. PMI-PBA (Professional in Business Analysis)
  4. Agile BA, Scrum Master (CSM), or Product Owner certifications
